Our Tasmanian Cassis has been made with fresh local blackcurrants using traditional wine making methods. It has an intense blackcurrant fruit aroma and the palate is very sweet, rich and smooth with long lingering flavours. Cassis is predominately used in a Kir Royale cocktail (3tsp Cassis and Champagne) or can be enjoyed with dry Tasmanian cider, sparkling water or poured over fine vanilla bean ice-cream. Fermented and fortified to 18%alc/vol. No artificial preservatives or colourings or flavourings.
